♦ As Black Saturday unfolded and the weeks afterwards, I observed the response and reaction of the nation, I watched like so many others. I listened to the Prime Minister, the corporate head, to the mums and dads, all coming to terms with the sadness that was unfolding.

These words are my thoughts describing this horrific day.

My words humbly address the human spirit and the nation’s shift that has occurred since that day.

We all carry those overwhelming hours within our hearts.
