My art comes from a place,

my words come from a person,

I cannot explain why it happens,

for it just does.

For hours to days

I will be engrossed, agonise

over the details.

Wonder and lose myself,

until it is the end.

How do I know it is done?

I do not know.

The words then come,

usually quickly.

Why these words,

who knows?

Was I thinking of these words?

Oh my goodness no.

When completed and finalised,

I remember not of what I had done.

For it is,

just as it is.

They are for you.

Let’s see, I have been a Registered Nurse forever it seems.

I have seen the best and worst of which people are truly capable of.

I have witnessed such magnificent power of the body and the courage

and belief of such wonderful spirits.

I have seen this power and spirit that we actually all have,

but very few of us understand our spirits or use our power until

we are in a place of desperation.

We give our spirit and power over to others every day,

and allow others to use it for us.

Our life is ours to experience, understand, and take full responsibility of it.

We should listen, believe and trust in our own powerful energy,

and become as one with ourselves, authentically.

If we listen we will hear our true guidance, whispers of wisdom

only for us.

My art and words are here to show you how special you truly are.

It is a reminder that you

own your own power, beliefs,

can make your own choices,

and have the ability to create your own experience.

That it is your right to be you,

to be true to your own spirit.

Remember no one else is you or will ever be.

Take back what is truly yours.......
